Profile bio

About Gabriel Collins

I am an attorney, think-tank nerd, and commodity expert who regularly helps commercial folks and government policymakers resolve complex problems in the water, energy/commodity, and national security spaces. To do this, I leverage my experiences at a top-tier basic materials hedge fund, an AmLaw 100 law firm, the US Department of Defense, and the world's premier energy & natural resources think-tank. I also read Mandarin, Russian, and Spanish well enough to use them in my research, speak each just well enough to get myself in trouble, and am licensed to practice law in Texas. On the personal level, I’m a proud Permian Basin native who is still teased by my family for joining a commodity hedge fund right before the 2008 market crash. A full repository of my work can be found at https://www.bakerinstitute.org/expert/gabriel-collins and https://collinsresearchportal.com/.

Listed skills include International Law, Economics, Analytical Skills, Commodity Market Research, and 45 others.
