Gateway Media is a digital media company headquartered in St. Louis which owns and operates a portfolio of highly trafficked, highly engaging websites that see more than 120M people per month, worldwide. I lead a team of 20 people who spun out of Answers and grew that team to more than 100 in only two years. Over that time period, we grew our portfolio of sites from 1 to 15 and grew our audience form 20m to 120m unique visitors per month. I led a funding raise of $40m and 2 large acquisitions and integrations. In a two year span, we transitioned the business to become on of the largest social content networks on the internet.
