I am a 20 year old University student looking into entering the world with a high head but most importantly with a strong sense of will. During my years of schooling I was taught that helping each other and being homogeneous can yield better results and greater understanding between individuals. To this day I believe that it is TRUE! Since joining the University of Newcastle, I have joined the Filipino Student Society of University of Newcastle and have gained the role of Internals and Recruitment officer tasked with maintaining the welfare and numbers of society members. Since that role began and is still currently going, I have also joined the Filipino Student Council of New South Wales as the current Director of Integration & General Welfare of which my role is the help all Filipino students both domestic and international within NSW get settled into student life. My most proud achievements are:Creating an online mental health workshop for Filipino students currently experiencing tough times due to COVID-19 (Filipino Student Council of New South Wales).Created and convened with fellow Executive Members within the Filipino Student Society of University of Newcastle to help create events for its members.Been part and co-ordinated efforts to help support Filipino Students facing tough times both financially and mentally. Such initiatives consist but not limited to:- Filos 4 Heroes- Online Mental Health Workshop- APCO
