As a St. Applications Developer for ASD, I worked at the Department of Defense. I gathered requirements from customers, designed, coded, tested, and deployed the software systems with minimal-to-no supervision from my project manager. My most significant contribution was completing the Senior Executive Services Web Application for the Executive People and Personnel Department at DoD under six months.

While at SystemLink, I developed HistoScope, a Laboratory Information System that primarily acted as the software controller for the Robbins Scientific Microscope. I led the Puget Sound Blood Center (now Bloodworks Northwest) project by building the custom SPIDER Laboratory Information System. I also assisted numerous medical institutions, including the American Red Cross in Baltimore, the City of Hope in Los Angeles, the University of California in Los Angeles, and the University of Texas in Galveston. I introduced object-oriented development, component engineering methodologies, and continuous integration to the other developers in the company. By introducing these vital software development concepts, the developers created reusable software components, reducing total coding efforts across HistoTrac LIMS products.
