I was hired with the challenge to evangelize craft beer while interacting with bar and restaurant management and to grow sales territory by at least 30%, including 4 new draft placements per month, for one of nation's most successful craft brew companies.Managed a sales portfolio consisting of 35 breweries / cideries and 150 accounts. My territory saw a boost of 45% in my first 14 months.Monitored Case Equivalents (CE) metric routinely to determine brand sale patterns and to make necessary improvement adjustments. Also I continuously developed valued resourcefulness and consultancy capacity to compete successfully in an aggressive market.

I was chosen as result of a highly selective process to serve in one of LA's premier beer establishments.Chief responsibilities included determining beverage purchasing that included beer, wine, and liquor; conducting staff training and supervision; coordinating operations; and delivering superior guest service. I was very involved in describing and promoting beers to patrons from our 36-tap and 50-bottle seasonal rotating selection.

At Wurstkuche I directed a 2000+ patron restaurant that enjoyed a daily take of $10K–$20K. I was promoted rapidly, given a wider scope of responsibilities, and contributed significantly in the opening of the new Venice pub site.I executed business with 5–10 beer distributors per week and sold up to 50 types of brews daily. My knowledge extended to hundreds of more brands and styles, however.This is the period when I began conducting training seminars, having at the time prepared approximately 40 staff.

This was my first experience engaging in hospitality with a very perceptive and demanding clientele, many of whom came from the film and music industries. My knowledge of sophisticated beverages and refined service expanded greatly at this time.
