I co-founded and actively co-lead the Sweetlines Equity Grant scholarship program, focused on bringing children of color into mountain biking, and making mountain biking a more inclusive and diverse community. I also teach children ages 6-14 mountain bike skills programs through Sweetlines. The youth programs are structured around mountain biking with a focus on fostering youth independence and group social skills. My efforts directly demonstrate the benefits of hard work, and how that creates success, over the long-term and short-term. I am a driven, passionate and organized leader with a focus on equity and inclusivity. I have direct experience managing small-group programs and working directly with youth focused organizations to incorporate mountain biking into their week-to-week curriculum and bring mountain biking into communities that many not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it.
