I looked to understand resource requests in line with transformation and deliver or oversee the delivery of improvement and innovation projects and pathways within adult social care services utilising technology and quality assurance standards.I have developed a co-production lead-role and budgeted for customer consultation work as a first for City of York Council and I worked towards ensuring co-production was a golden thread throughout the Adult Social Care directorate. I have also co-designed ‘Care Connected’ which is a partnership initiative for all care providers and partner organisations from across our local region that helps them to access relevant H&SC updates in one single place. Care Connected is a commitment to working within our local system to provide joined up multi-agency support to our care sector, following extensive engagement that revealed providers would like a forum that combines involvement from our neighboring Local Authorities and our ICB. I have also worked to co-design a preventative, professional feedback form for residential services that has led to a reduction in incorrect safeguarding referrals; an improved relationship with our providers and an opportunity to respond to risk in a measured and preventive way and to identify trends which we can then inform our learning sessions. Comprehensive reports always provided recommendations for improvement and I led on implementing bespoke, ongoing compliance support packages. I achieved this through working closely with the other ‘Heads of’ in our Policies, Registrations and Operations and Marketing teams to ensure that all our clients’ needs were anticipated, understood, and seamlessly managed throughout the duration of their journey with us at CQC Compliance and with the CQC. I ensured any arising challenges were discussed in detail and I worked closely with our Director of Operations and Accounts team to respond to queries, concerns, or complaints. I produced weekly insight reports that were data led and captured an up-to-date picture of the running of the organisation. I enjoyed working in a process-driven manner that allowed for an analysis to then inform resourcing. I provided direct line management support to clinical and non-clinical staff with a wealth of experience. I introduced and co-delivered monthly webinars about relevant CQC Compliant topics including Care Planning and Record Keeping; Equality and Diversity in the Workplace; Training and How to Prepare for an Inspection. I also conducted well-led board reviews for national charities and large health and social care providers. Recommendations have included the delivery of SLT Governance training, a review of the new CQC strategy, and a review of their safeguarding and co-production processes and improvements have been recognised by the regulator. I also monitored incoming notifications, incident reports and other relevant intelligence to oversee the governance and risk management of these services. I worked closely with our strategy and intelligence and legal team, as well as external stakeholders to respond to emerging risks and identified failures. With a goal to influence change and ensure services had implemented effective and robust governance systems, were compliant with the regulations and were providing safe, effective, caring and responsive care to people. I was a co-chair for the Gender Equality Network. Here I contributed towards managing a budget to implement our annual objectives and worked towards achieving gender equality within the workplace. I also led on the topic of Equality, Diversity and Human Rights within the team and contributed towards developing and shaping leadership conferences and training for all inspectors. I managed a team of 15 staff to provide a support service for up to 150 people with a mental health related support need who were living independently in the community. I worked to ensure the service was consistently aligned with the operational contract, and that all work was carried out effectively and efficiently within budgetary parameters whilst meeting KPIs.

As a PA to Dr. Vaibhav (Ved) Sharma and Dr. Paul Ettlinger I directly supported & managed daily operations of the practice, facilitating the professional, seamless, sensitive and discreet delivery of health services.

I oversaw the coordination of 10 families who were identified in correlation with national guidelines as needing additional support to ensure appropriate development and prevent escalation. I focussed on the mental health and well-being of the parents / caregivers and provided an integrated care approach with neighbouring and national organisations to improve quality of life.

I assisted the management of up to 40 frontline staff, supporting individuals at risk of homelessness in the borough of Islington and overseeing the development of the organisation with the service manager.

I delivered direct line-management to staff, and frontline support to people affected by poor mental health. This role was based in a crisis house, providing immediate crisis based support and long term recovery goals to people, with the goal of equipping them with strategies and tools to equip them in their mental health recovery.

I provided community based support to individuals at risk of homelessness with the goal of preventing homelessness through the government ‘Troubled Families’ agenda on a payment by result scheme.
