Licensed Masters's Social Worker with a passion for helping to facilitate change in the lives of young people. After receiving a position at a non-profit organization in Navarre, Florida, my eye for detail, work ethic, and structure-oriented characteristics promoted a love for the operational aspects of non-profit work. One notable project was The Refuge, a transitional living space for at-risk women ages 18-24. I developed the programming for the year-long program and conducted a community-wide donation drive that "stocked the house" with all furniture and consumable items. The programming created met the trauma-focused expectations that should always be at the heart of working with sexual abuse/human trafficking survivors and aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values.I am currently seeking a full-time role in the programming or operations of a non-profit, in Dallas, Texas.
