A determined and resilient individual. There is no such thing as comfort zone for me, if this is in my way to best develop my ''Self''. Despite encountering numerous barriers in life, I have managed to focus on pursuing my dream to have an international career. I have fought against any racial, language or status quo obstacles that could prevent me from achieving my goals. I am still building my path, but the results I have obtained so far have shown I am in the right way.''... And you learn you can really bear it, that you're really strong and that you can go farther than you think, and that life has a value and you have a value before life! And you learn that our doubts are disloyal and that makes us lose what we could achieve, if it weren’t for the fear of trying.'' – William Shakespeare

Childcare Worker

Families Residences

County Dublin, Ireland

In pursuit of developing an international law career, I challenged myself and decided to move abroad in order to learn English. It was the first time I had left home and travelled abroad. I do not come from a wealthy family and did not have the opportunity to do it earlier in my career. However, as a determined and motivated person, I planned to take this step in my life and I am glad I have done it. In Ireland, I would daily attend an English course in the morning and take care of children for the rest of the day. This was enough to keep me financially supported during my time there. It was an incredible experience not only for my language skills, but also for international cultural awareness. Moreover, I had the opportunity to travel to several countries, when I was exposed to different languages and cultural backgrounds. In the end, I was able to sit for the official Cambridge language assessment and got its certificate - CAE (advanced level of English) -, which was later useful to apply for a Master course abroad.Skills: commitment to continuous learning; creativity; planning & organizing; respect for diversity
