About Gabriela Stegmann

I use data science to gain insight into people's health and cognition.I worked for 4 years at a digital health startup leading the validation work to demonstrate that the speech algorithms could track ALS disease progression. This resulted in receiving the FDA breakthrough device designation for monitoring ALS. Our validated speech metrics detected a treatment effect in a pharma company, allowing the clinical trial to proceed to the next stage. During that time, I published research and thought leadership papers to advance the digital health field.I currently work building statistical models to understand students' skills profiles and integrate them into our production data pipeline.
