About Gabor Zsirka

Specialised in product marketing, strategic marketing, service development and project management predominantly within the services industry. Currently I've been working as the senior product and business development manager for Bluecode a fintech startup and supporting the company in their quest to be the most rewarding mobile payment solution for banks, end users and merchants.Beforehand I've gained 15 years of experience in the service and FMCG industries both with B2B and B2C services/products.     Starting off my career, beer was the 2nd largest fmcg product in Hungary in terms of the purchased value thus one of the best „schools“ to start with. I took part in the planning of the trade marketing strategy and lead the plan execution in different channels including capex-related projects with budgets up to 7 digit million euros. I learned how to prepare activities for C-level approvals and got to know the business of the international food retail chains and the horeca segment in depth. On the company: Dreher Breweries was part of the SABMiller Group back in 2004. On the very intense Hungarian beer market the company was just edging out the two other dominant players based on the volume sold. The brewery was offering brands like Dreher, Arany Ászok, Pilsner Urquell, Miller, Hofbrau, Kozel and Kőbányai. During my time there 700+ employees worked at Dreher.
