Ever since I was a little girl, I had a strong passion for written communication. In fact, I knew how to spell the word “candy” before I knew how to say it. I attended writing camp every summer, and truly found love in creative storytelling. As I’ve gotten older, and worked to refine my craft, my communication skills have taken on a more strategic lens. With that comes the drive and excitement to tell brands’ stories. Throughout my life, I have been an absorber of knowledge, a sponge. Whatever I am doing, I want to know all about it. And as much as I’d like to know everything, I am well aware that this is not always possible. As a marketer, it is my responsibility to synthesize a brand’s messages into digestible content for consumers. To do that, I make sure I’ve done my homework, and fully understand the content myself first. My passion for learning and soaking up information are what help me be the ambassador for brands and their customers. I have always been involved in multiple simultaneous activities--school, extracurriculars, work. I don't know how to not stay busy. I do not respond well to boredom. Call me a stress addict, but I am always eager to take on new projects and responsibilities. The fuller my plate, the better.
