I am originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, but moved to the United States in 2018. I am sophomore at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and I am majoring in Finance and Law, Ethics, and Decision Making (LEAD) with a minor in Psychology. Since a child, I have always had a passion for learning. Whether it was about stars and galaxies to how intricate our brains can be, I have always been searching for the next interesting fact that I could learn. At one point in my life, I became curious about the business world, and that curiosity never faded as my other passion projects did. Thus, I decided that it would be what I would create my career in. I quickly became interested in the consulting industry. It is a career path where I could use my natural drive to learn about different topics to help others and impact the world around me. As for what I am currently involved in, I am the co-president of the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusions advocacy group (JEDI), where I host meetings and events to discuss current topics and how they relate to the principles of the club. Our focus with this organization is to make the outdoors a place more accessible, welcoming, and exciting for those that are not familiar with it. I am also a part of IU Outdoors Adventures, an organization where I, and three other leaders, teach classes about outdoor sports, such as backpacking and rock climbing. Additionally, I part of the Phi Chi Theta, Zeta Eta Professional Fraternity. Currently, I am the Director of Professional Pledge Development (PPD), where I administer an 8-week-long course for the incoming students of the fraternity to develop their professional skills and foster social bonds among the active base. Finally, I am the incoming Audit Chair for this organization, a position where I will oversee all aspects of the fraternity to ensure that the bylaws of the organization are followed.
