The Compliance Assistant role involves comprehensive monitoring to ensure strict adherence to NCAA rules. Responsibilities include overseeing playing and practice seasons, monitoring recruiting activity logs, approving visit requests, and other duties to uphold compliance with NCAA regulations. The Assistant manages databases like Compliance Assistant, ARMS, and PeopleSoft, administering compliance forms for students, coaches, and staff. Active participation in compliance team meetings, preparing and contributing to NCAA and MAAC interpretation requests, waiver requests, and violation reports is also required. Additionally, the role involves file management and storage of compliance files and confidential reports, with the Assistant taking on additional duties as assigned by superiors in the athletic department.

Assisted in documenting and monitoring NCAA recruiting rules, worked with Compliance Services on education, monitoring, and enforcing rules and regulations, and other tasks as assigned. Utilized interpersonal (communication) and organizational skills to document and monitor NCAA recruitment rules and assist with everyday tasks. Learn NCAA rules and regulations to effectively aid Compliance Services on education, monitoring, and enforcement of rules within TU Athletics. Became familiar with NCAA/CAA rules and regulations through research and training.

Assisted in the organization and preparation of division 1 athletic equipment for 19 different sports. Gained valuable field experience. Learned how to interact with coaches and manage the equipment so that each team has what they need. Traveled with teams and gained experience on how to best organize and execute home and away games on and off the field.
