During this period I was mainly responsible for all the financial aspects of the Foundation's operation which included, accounting, forecasting, planning, reporting, payments, accounts payable and receivable, cash runway and fiscal compliance as well as setting up our fiscal presence in Portugal, Germany and UK. I actively participated on the Foundation's Balance sheet investment activities and managed (to this day still) the relationship with one of our portfolio companies. During the last two/three quarters of my period as CFO I directly managed a dedicated team of two, a Controller and an FP&A. I created our expense policy and set up our first ERP as well as the rest of the Foundation's digital infrastructure (cards, online payments, emails, server, bank accounts). I was the main legal liason of the Foundation with our partners at Herbert Smith Freehills and oversaw contracts, compliance, claims, policy, legal documents, and organised and participated on Board meetings. On the operations side, I lead it for most of the period until the fourth quarter 2022 ensuring the supply chain worked properly, which included storage in various locations, transport services, production orders, and stock control in all business lines for products and marketing materials, both online and offline. During the first half of 2022 I lead Ocean Beer's sales team and developed a KPI structure to follow up on progress and created a client database to use as CRM.

Together with the Foundation founders and the Master Brewer we began working on the Ocean Born Foundation's Ocean Beer project, our first business line. During the first stages I did the first Business Plan to analyse the viability of the project including the operational analysis to define the supply chain elements required, which included learning and adapting to the specifics of European Beer/Alcohol regulation. I actively participated in concept and philosophy development, messaging and marketing. I designed our first websites and set-up our first e-commerce for Spain using the platforms Wordpress/Woocommerce and later Shopify. This included liasing, integrating and signing with our logistic operators. Over time I took the lead on Operations, Legal and Finance which is where I focused most of my work during the next stages of the Foundation's growth.

- Business plan, financial modelling and market forecasting.- MVP prototype design and development. Together with my engineering partner we developed a closed loop prototype module for leafy green (above ground) cultivation in any environment, self regulating all relevant variables to guarantee succesful cultivation provided the necessary external inputs (energy, water, nutrients). What we called modular agriculture. We worked on a small interior prototype with a pipeline of a three size offer, being the biggest one equivalent to a shipping container.- Researching agricultural markets, competitors and new technologies. Acquisition of industry specific knowledge (plant biology, engineering, and agricultural methods and dynamics).- Acquisition of relevant knowledge regarding fiscal and legal issues relating to business creation in Spain and abroad. Contacting relevant people on financial and legal advisory, web and app design, engineering and manufacturing.

- Searching and compiling business and financial institutions financial statements and quarterly results. Analysing the data and presenting it to senior management.- Markets, industries, competitors and disruptive tech research, analysis and reporting.- Keeping senior management up to date with relevant news about automotive industry and consumer finance markets.
