iFood is a FoodTech that owns the leading food delivery platform in Latin America. As an intern, some of my responsibilities are* Building and maintaining robust and scalable backend services (volumetrics of over 40k requests per second at peak).* Developing API's using gRPC and HTTP protocol* Leveraging asynchronous communication patterns using Apache Kafka* Mantaining Kubernetes clusters and cloud services such as Redis, DynamoDB, S3, and RDS.* Maintaining PostgreSQL databases.* Setting up a CI environment using Gitlab and maintain its pipelines.* Implementing load and unit tests.* Collaborating with the team's PM to create better solutions.* Proficient in GO, utilizing extensively for daily development tasks.

For two years I exercised the post of PADEMT Tutor of Computing. I was available for 12 hours per week to all the computing students of Technical High School of Campinas, to help them with different projects, questions and problems related to the course activities.

The Civic Innovators Fellowship is designed for young leaders who are passionate about solving community issues and want to channel their passion into innovative action. Each year, a diverse group of dedicated individuals are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle intricate community and societal challenges. Throughout the program, fellows delve into pressing issues facing the United States and the world, developing innovative solutions that integrate fundamental principles with state-of-the-art technology and forward-thinking ideologies. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to cultivate valuable personal skills, such as systems thinking, democratic theory, and community building.Over 16 weeks I learned about how to spot opportunities for change, how to lead them, and practical problem and conflict resolution skills.‍
