I work in fermentation as part of a brewing team to produce beer to a high quality that is expected from our customers. My duties in this role include the following but are not limited to:Work to health and safety and food manufacturing guidelinesEnsure we achieve our KPIs, so that the beer we produce at a high quality includes sensory and extract loss. I am required to ensure all containers of produce are to a high standard of cleanliness whereby I do daily checks via visuals, ATP testing using swabs. Analysis of the beer to ensure that fermentation is occurring at the correct rate and if not, perform troubleshooting to discover the cause of the poor fermentation rate.Have a basic understanding of brewing science. Working within a team of ten colleagues, taking part in daily meetings and ensure communication is to of a high standard Operate a data system to track traceability inputting information using attention to detail. Took part in a project involving installation of new equipment (Centrifuges) testing new equipment, and ensuring it operates to full capacity.
