About Gabriel C Hulbert
I'm a senior mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University. Outside of coursework, I am also the secretary of the Society of Engineers Aiding Missions as well as a member of the Concert Chorale.Throughout my classes there have been a variety of topics that have interested me. Specific topics that have interested me are manufacturing methods and mechanics of materials.My senior design project has been researching quasi-zero stiffness mounts for vibration isolation. This has both given me valuable experience with research but also with interpersonal skills, having to work with a team.When given the time, my favorite hobby is 3D printing. At this point, I have been 3D printing for over four years. I have experience in FDM printing as well as some in DLP resin printing. I also hope to soon have experience with binder jetting printing, specifically with ceramics, once I get my Zprinter 310 up and working. Other experience that I have with 3D printing includes some experience in designing 3d printers. I am currently designing and building a large belt 3d printer (with a theoretical build size of 1 meter by 1 meter by infinite). Finally, I also have some experience in filament extrusion for FDM printers.
