Prepare process/mechanical plans, calculations (i.e., Pipeflo Software), specifications, and drawings for installation of specialty gas systems, bulk chemical delivery systems, utility lateral expansion, waste systems and sub-fab ancillary equipment for production tools. Activities included directing designers to prepare ACAD P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layout and piping plan drawings. Conduct technical field-verification and developed sketches for new design and as-built conditions. Participate in multi-discipline alignment meetings to provide field support and technical guidance for the client, construction managers, and vendors.

Technical Department - Quality control, Process analysis, Operator training, and Efficiency improvement. Contributed to the control and maintenance of the process systems (pulp-stock quality, vacuum pump efficiency, etc.), while working closely with operators and vendors to keep thorough knowledge of start-up/shutdown, measurement, calibration, and monitoring techniques for the equipment, laboratory, and production tools. Maintained environmental compliance, and looked to gain "credits" with EPA and DEQ regulations. This task required assessing and studying a system/process for a viable "Best Available Control Technology" (BACT) while keeping efficiency, and future needs/costs as top priorities. Wrote and taught procedures for laboratory personnel and operators so that more product samples may be tested precisely and efficiently. The procedures took into account many safety precautions, which require a good understanding of the process, knowledge of "industry" safe practices/behaviors for the personnel, and foresight into the practicality of each procedural step
