At present, simultaneously with the basic job in MiraTelecom, Gabriel Curculescu is a collaborator of the National Security Authority of Romania –ORNISS, in the field of Network and Information Security. He is an IT professional with focus on Network and Information Security.He is a practitioner who tackles both security fundamentals and awareness in the most important areas of IT security as COMSEC, COMPUSEC, CRYPTO and TEMPEST, with their in-depth technical aspects on one side and security regulations on the other side. During a period of ten years, Gabriel Curculescu attended periodical meetings of certain NATO and EU bodies working in the INFOSEC field (recently expanded to INFORMATION ASSURANCE). In this professional environment, he had the opportunity to learn modern security standards and get knowledge, skills and competencies, to project Information Security Management Systems, suitable to specific Communication and Information Systems. Gabriel Curculescu continues to participate in the NCIRC Working Group (NATO Computer Incident Response Capability) and in the International Working Group for secure communications interoperability - SCIP FNBDT. He is member of Awareness Raising Community –AR that is directed by ENISA and corresponding member of SANS Institute.
