As the VP of Marketing, my role expanded from the marketing department operations to the overall creative and content creation for the company. Working closely with the CEO to achieve his goals, I built a small team to do graphics, video, and photography to achieve the goals of the company. In addition, I travel to trade shows and work closely with our showroom director to make digital content for the sets the showroom director was creating. I commenced my career at AICO in the Inventory Control department, playing a pivotal role in the company's software transition. I closely collaborated with the IT team to integrate warehouse functionalities with our new ERP system (Navision). This experience enabled me to excel in various areas, notably developing procedures that contributed to achieving a record-breaking 99.9% inventory accuracy.In 2007, I was promoted to Operations Manager, overseeing the Parts, Repair, Assembly, Shipping, and Receiving departments. As we owned the building, my responsibilities also encompassed facility maintenance, testing, and compliance tasks, including fire system testing, safety training, and general upkeep.I prioritized empowering staff to independently manage the warehouse, which allowed me to focus on data analysis of stagnant inventory. Utilizing Microsoft Access, Excel, and ODBC tools, I queried data from our SQL servers to generate insightful reports not typically available through our ERP system.
