Gabriel's primary function was to stop the financial bleeding of his employer and his customers and he had the flexibility to engage in whatever means he deemed appropriate. Over his career, he managed over one billion dollars of recoveries within his parameters of his customers, and more than three billion worldwide. Through the development of technology based fraud identifying systems and training, Gabriel achieved the highest recovery rate in the world exceeding 95% since 1994 to 2002. This awarded him one honorary doctorate from Mexico and the consideration of a second from England which he could not attend due to illness. He investigated all major scams perpetrated by the banking industry from Worldcom, to Enron to Madoff for almost a decade.

Conducted investigations pertaining to kidnapping of high-profile individuals that resulted in extortion and subsequently forwarded the case to appropriate special forces to execute the rescue. He traveled over 60 countries and participated in rescuing over 1,000 persons over a five year period.
