I was part of a team responsible for installing backing for finish work in very high end apartment units.

I worked on several projects during this period of employment. Population Health, Building Cure, and Rainier Square Tower. I built concrete forms. I assisted in safety related work. I was responsible for leading a team building the elevator protection decks, as well as helping to design and implement a system of elevator protection decks which could be mechanically lifted to be moved up as the Ironworkers gained in elevation.

At Totem Lake Mall, I ran top of deck I was responsible for laying out and installing post tension cable heads, embeds, and support for rebar.

At Mackenzie Tower, I was responsible for several safety related projects. I worked with a team installing edge fan perimeter netting. I worked closely with the engineering team to design a process to lift the netting with an electric winch from inside the Doka perimeter protection system. We also were responsible for installing elevator protection decks, and perimeter cable rail. This project also tasked my crew with keeping an eye out for general safety issues, and finding solutions to some of these issues.

At Centre 425, I started during the top down phase, and worked on the decks from the ground down. Once we reached the bottom I was invited to take a more active role in site safety. I worked for Sellen as a safety carpenter for the better part of two years.
