Born in 1994 in Southern California, Gabriel Islas grew up in the coastal city of Oxnard. He obtained his BFA with an emphasis on painting from Academy of Art University, San Francisco in 2019. He has since moved back to his roots in Ventura County and has begun establishing his presence in the surrounding art scene. Using his strong background in traditional painting techniques and custom framing, Gabriel ensures quality in his product. His most current work exhibits concepts surrounding divine landscapes and natural displays of life. He just wrapped up exhibiting at Academy of Art University Atelier which held the ‘highlights’ from their annual spring show.
