Specialising in building a world-class culture and A-grade management teams, he is a serial entrepreneur with deep understanding in technology start-ups, E-commerce, Retail, Commercial Property and Petroleum – Oil & Gas.As the previous owner and CEO of Little Learning School and Bliss Early Learning, Gabriel drove the group expansion to three states and approximately 2,500 employees becoming the largest privately owned Early Learning group in Australia. In 2018, Gabriel sold Little Learning School which was acquired by Bain Capital. His other brand Bliss Early Learning was also acquired in 2019 by one of the world’s largest Early Learning operators, Busy Bees. Under Gabriel’s leadership, his Early Learning groups set new benchmarks in the industry from the first-class innovative facility designs, educational programs offered and employee retention rates as well as being awarded the highest ratings in the industry by the governing industry body ACECQA.Gabriel also founded the cult favourite business, Bondi Boost and successfully expanded it to the US, UK, NZ and Canadian markets including securing retail distribution with multiple outlets including Sephora and Ulta. As the CEO of Bondi Boost, it became the 3rd fastest growing beauty brand in the world and was acquired in 2022 by US based Private Equity firm, Gauge Capital.He has since founded his family office, Hyper Capital and as the acting Principal overseeing all investments in the areas of: - Technology start-ups - Property - Petroleum, Oil & Gas - Finance LendingHyper Capital invests its own private money across the sectors and opportunities they believe will generate the most return and solve the biggest problems in the world. They prioritise investing in excellent leaders with big ideas that solve real problems.He also works closely with several high-profile CEO’s, entrepreneurs, sports stars and business leaders as a coach and mentor.Gabriel is also an advocate for animal welfare and is actively engaged with several animal rescue groups to save and rehome animals in both Australia and abroad. He provides ongoing financial assistance as well as strategic guidance to animal Not-For-Profit groups and volunteers his time to rescue. Mr Jakob has a degree in Commerce and Marketing, completed a Financial Planning education and undertaken several senior executive programs via Harvard Business School.
