During my 15 years as an Electrical Engineer in the industry, I have worked in large corporates like Jacobs and DNV on projects for ESKOM, UNDP & the World Bank, where I advised investors, lenders and industry stakeholders on the markets, regulations, technologies, and risks related to renewable energy, and implemented these projects. My network extends well into Sub-Saharan Africa, where I have travelled for conferences either as a guest speaker and panelist, or trained one of many governmental parties, regulatory authorities, ministries of energy and various other interested parties.In addition to this, I have also been a part of start-up organizations like Energy Intelligence, where I designed and built a patented energy allocation metering platform — giving me a great understanding of the various complexities of energy projects and their clients, large and small.
