• Responsible for the end to end flow of launching, monitoring and curating of funds on the OCBC product shelf. This includes generating ideas on new funds to be launched, performing due diligence on these shortlisted funds, presenting to the Investment Committee for distribution within the network and ensuring operational and system readiness.• Works closely with marketing colleagues to determine the most effective promotions and campaigns to be used in order to drive unit trust sales (for both external customers and OCBC sales staff).• Gives training on a regular basis to new hires on the fundamentals of unit trusts• Provides operational support such as responding to queries from sales staff, giving approvals for deviations, and drafting letters for fund houses corporate actions. • Project manager for the Unit Trust Regionalisation project which aims to align unit trust systems across Malaysia and Singapore entities.• Project lead for the OCBC Life Goals project, which focuses on developing systems and sales advisory methodology to enable OCBC customers to plan for their financial goals• Works closely with our Digital Transformation and IT partners to ensure that the system is seamless across multiple platforms.• Member of the Client Portfolio Action Committee, who is responsible for monitoring prices of unit trusts and bonds on a daily basis, and sending alerts out to customers and sales staff when certain volatility thresholds are hit

• Was entrusted with running ION Orchard branch as my first posting, which is a flagship branch in the OCBC network• 100% pass for annual audit checks• 1H and FY 2016 – Achieved Pinnacle award for Sales (top 15% in network)• FY 2017 – Pinnacle award for sales and top service branch in the network

• Was the only sales staff for the year to join the internal PGMA programme. This is an 18-month structured training programme which equips Management Associates (MAs) with banking, compliance knowledge and soft skills training through a wide array of learning channels. • Key rotations include: • Marketing department: Exposure to different marketing strategies to be used for various customer segments/channels• Contact Centre – Worked on a project to automate the resolution of common customer queries, saving manpower• Operational Risk Management team – Helped to perform AML screening and also worked on the Industry Wide Exercise, a semiannual disaster recovery scenario simulation• Wealth Management – Helped to start the advisory and system builds for OCBC Life Goals
