CurrentThe role is responsible for the Management of Change in accordance with the UGLRL SMS and includes overseeing the management, monitoring, and reporting of the configuration management for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) on Country Regional Network (CRN) contract. This role is accountable for the review and updating of the UGLRL Configuration Management Plan for all activities across the business both in the O&M and enhancement projects.The CRN spans a vast area across NSW and includes townships like Armidale, Bathurst, Cobar, Dubbo, Griffith, Narrabri, Orange, Queanbeyan, Tamworth, West Wyalong and many others. The CRN includes 2,386 kilometres of operational rail lines that are utilised for passenger and freight services. In addition, there are 3,139 kilometres of non-operational line and 27,000 hectares of land and infrastructure that require upkeep. This portfolio includes 1,312 level crossings (300 active), 1,200 property assets (including 356 heritage sites), 600 rail under bridges and 384 over bridges. Throughout the network, approximately 996km of branch line is predominantly used for grain haulage.
