Sustainable Bioenergy Modeling Center:Performed techno-economic evaluations and process modeling for a joint-venture pilot plant between Du-Pont & ADM for the production of FDME from renewable feedstock (potential substitute for PET in plastic bottles).

Assisted commentators from all over the world to operate their electronic equipment during the FIFA World Cup 2014 at five games in two different venues. Selected among all of the interns to be part of the team working in the grand final in the Maracanã because of communication skills in multiple languages.

Process Engineering Department in a Phosphate Fertilizer Plant.The main activities include: (i) data collection and analysis for optimization of cooling towers, drying, crushing, and sieving units; (ii) developed a spreadsheet to assess common outages at five units in the industrial complex.

Participated in the design of a pharmaceutical plant (human plasma fractionation process) in Brazil, as result of technology transfer between the French laboratory LFB and the Brazilian State-owned company Hemobras. The main activities include: (i) design and review of specification sheets for valves and process instrumentation in the purified water systems; (ii) P&ID development.
