Greetings! My name is Gabriel, and I am a full stack developer currently looking for work. My passion for technology began at a young age, where I was fascinated by the inner workings of code and software.Despite spending most of my childhood outdoors, exploring nature and attending spiritual festivals and events with my mother, I always found time to tinker with electronics and play video games. It wasn't until I turned 13 that I was gifted my first computer - an old Windows 98 machine with no internet access. Nevertheless, I had a great time creating clip art comedy shows and playing point-and-click games on it.At 14, I joined the Hari Krishna monks and spent over a year traveling and studying the faith. When I turned 15, my mother finally allowed me to have internet access and a newer computer. This led to me creating a gaming community, starting a successful YouTube channel, and even launching an unregistered game server hosting company - all while teaching myself various skills like graphic design, web development, modding, and video editing.By the time I turned 17, I started working as a freelance computer repairman and IT consultant. I helped numerous clients with tasks ranging from website building to book publishing, hardware repairs to software usage tutorials. To this day, I continue to assist some of my clients with running their online businesses.At 18, I enrolled in college to study IT and completed a diploma after one year of study. Unfortunately, I had to leave college due to personal reasons and worked various jobs over the next few years, from being a radio operator for a taxi firm to junior management in a retail store. Throughout all my work experiences, I continued to learn new skills and improve my existing ones.During the COVID-19 lockdown, I was asked by a friend to help develop an app, which eventually led to the creation of OURTOR - a digital tourism marketplace. This project allowed me to acquire new skills and eventually led to me landing an internship at Gravitywell, where I am now happily employed.
