Taking accountability for the store in the absence of the store manager my duties include customer service, cash handling, payroll entry, end to end recruitment activities, absence management, disciplinaries, ensuring the store is trading safely and legally and end of week cash routines. The role requires an intense 12 week training period during which a number of operational and behavioural workshops are completed. As part of this role I am also trained in high risk food safety, a personal license holder and emergency first aid at work.

My duties included customer service, cash handling, complaints management, stockroom management, visual merchandising, maintaining standards, new starter training and cleaning responsibilities. I was given the opportunity throughout my time to open a number of different stores throughout the region including Dundee, Perth, St Andrews, York and the flagship store in Glasgow.
