I am the Founder, CEO, Game Designer and Creative Director of Six Wing Studios. I lead a team to develop our own titles and provide design and development services on a contract basis.Accomplishments:• Recruited and led a team of developers, artists, and supporters to take Amaru: The Self-care Virtual Pet from an idea to 850,000 downloads on iOS and Android with a 4.8/5.0 rating, endorsements from mental-health gaming organizations, and datasets validating that the game helps players build focus and resilience to stress, anxiety, and depression. • Provided all feature and narrative design for Amaru as well as in-game copy and voiceover. • Managed Amaru development by leading with agile/scrum methodologies. • Raised funds by winning the NC IDEA Seed Grant and Unity for Humanity Community Grant, successfully fulfilling multiple crowdfund campaigns, and raising investor capital. • Led the design and delivery of digital and physical merchandise including stuffed animals, artbooks, and storybooks of the Amaru character.• Spun up a client-services arm through which we assist clients with game design and development. I advised ASG in the development of a cutting-edge platform designed to supplement their high-touch candidate sourcing and client research with high-tech psychometrics and candidate-client matching algorithms. I developed assessments, offered advice on best-practice talent acquisition procedures, and emphasized user-centered design to create simple and clean interactions between users and the platform's interface. I assisted with the distribution of PerSight, an innovative, pre-hire assessment developed in a university psychometrics lab that aids managers in hiring the best employees.

I served as an I/O Psychology subject-matter expert to inform Red Hat's strategies for enhancing employee engagement and well-being. I collaborated to enhance Red Hat's annual employee survey, advising on the selection of a survey vendor and championing changes to survey questions which resulted in more efficient data-collection and reporting and a 17% increase in survey participation. I proactively engaged business leaders to suggest data-informed engagement solutions, and I enabled internal consultants and managers by holding training sessions and authoring materials connecting readers to internal and external resources. I founded a community bringing together I/O Psychology and related professionals from across the organization, and I created a weekly Mindful Meetup in which I led employees through guided mindfulness meditation sessions for which I received a peer recognition award.
