I visualize the end in the beginning in all of my projects, from concept drawings through the final phases of construction. While my thorough understanding of master planning and design principles energizes the start of a project,it is my appreciation for the beauty of seeing plans taking form through the entire process to completion that makes the projects unique. I make it a personal requirement to transform those ideas into precision in meticulous construction drawings and on-site construction supervision – a mindset informed by dual degrees in architecture and civil engineering. With extensive leadership in the successful development of numerous complex sites, I also have broad experience in managing complex public-private ventures. My significant expertise in all phases of design, planning and construction--plus critical strategic relationships with structural and mechanical engineers and building contractors--plays a key role in expanding the work in Latin America as well as the US based retail centers, mixed-use and commercial portfolio. Throughout my career I have been a regular guest juror at Catholic University’s School of Architecture and has a long history of community involvement. I was elected as a School Board member in Montgomery County, MD and has served as a board member for the Strathmore Hall for Fine Arts and Identity, Inc. I am a graduate of Leadership Montgomery, Class of 2002. On a personal note, I love to sketch, especially when traveling or visiting interesting places. I am fluent in English and Spanish, have traveled extensively through Latin-America, the Caribbean and Europe and I Love exercising, spinning, painting and reading good literature.
