Gabriel R. Drapeau performs under the alias doc.gazebo. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies in 2015 and established the electronic instrument shop TechnoSynth in 2016. Currently, he is involved in experimental research on plant development in a laboratory. Engaged in both sound and visual arts, Gabriel presented his interactive exhibition "Le Havre" in Rimouski. Since then, he co-founded the visual experimentation collective EXPANSYS and the duo AGUMA, releasing their debut album on the Franco-Montreal label Chez Kito Kat Records. Gabriel performed at the MUTEK Montreal festival in 2019 and 2022. Following a residency, he delivered a series of immersive performances in the dome of the Society for Arts and Technology in Montreal during the summer of 2022. An iteration of this audiovisual project was showcased at the ACT festival in South Korea in November 2023.
