My name is Gabriel Rivas-Mena, I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship PhD at the Doctoral Network MEDiverSEATy: In Quest of the human dimensions of MEDiterranean Marine Biodiversity. In particular, my project will explore the use of Electrical Artificial Reefs to restore marine benthic biodiversity and the potential implications in spatial planning and coastal communities. The project will be developed at the Institute of Marine Biology at the University of Montengro. In the past, I graduated from the Erasmus Mundus International Master's of Science in Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea). During my studies I could travel to 7 different European countries where I studied and work at different institutions. My minor was in Experimental Design for Marine Ecology and Marine Conservation. I have experience working in Deep-Sea Ecology, Marine Benthic Conservation and Restoration.
