I tutor students of all ages and in all subjects. However, the majority of my students are high schoolers needing help in math, science or SAT/ACT prep. This is a product of demand, but that's not to say my preference would be otherwise. The fact is, I love what I do--those 'aha' moments that every student has feel just as good whether it's a junior higher who finally understands fractions or a college sophomore who correctly sets up a double integral for the first time! There is another reason that I focus on high school students, and it's quite simple. In today's world, these 4 pivotal years are imperative to these student's futures. As such, for high school students, I don't limit my services to tutoring. I'm ot just trying to help some student pass geometry, or get an A in honors chemistry. I strive to ensure every student first recognizes, and then strives to exceed, their potential; I make them see that no matter their true scholastic ability, within each of them exists something special, unique, all their own that, if embraced and nurtured, will allow them to shine as bright as the sun; I help every student evaluate their unique skillsets and discover their passions to help them to thoughtfully and carefully consider what they want out of higher education and, ultimately, life; I work with the parents and children to find target schools that are also financially viable while seeking out any and all scholarship opportunities to ease the burden; I help each student to set goals, making them aware of all of the major benchmarks and together we ensure that every effort is made on both our parts to reach these goals. In truth, I look at myself more as a life coach and mentor, and my reward is not just in those special 'aha' moments but in hearing from students who've gone on to do great things, knowing that I helped make those dreams come true.

I was the primary sales specialist for the switch and switch matrices product group. In this capacity I met with engineers, introduced them to our cutting edge technology, and discussed current projects for which our components and larger systems might benefit them. As such, a deep understanding of the technology at an engineering level was necessary to be able to understand the customers' needs and quickly determine first if our existing technology could meet all required specifications, and if not, to propose alternate solutions. I would then consult with our lead engineer and together we would determine the best course of action. As marketing specialist, I designed the majority of our marketing tools, including pamphlets and leave behinds, not just for my product line but also for our other two product lines. Lastly, in this capacity, I was in charge of training our regional, both domestic and international, sales reps on the finer points of the technology for our 3 product lines and educating them on all new technologies and products. I did this by holding bi-weekly webinars.
