I am a Lawyer and Academic Researcher with a Bachelor's Degree in Law and a Master's Degree in Regional Development, both from the Regional University of Blumenau (FURB). My main interest is Intellectual Property and Regional Development, especially in Latin America. I am currently working on topics such as Innovation and Sustainability. I am a member of the Innovation Law, Intellectual Property and Anti-Piracy Committee of the Santa Catarina Bar Association (Brazil). I have also been an Affiliate Researcher at the Max-Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition (Munich/Germany), as a member of the "Smart IP for Latin America" Initiative (Buenos Aires Observatory - Argentina). I am also a member of the "Cultural Heritage, Memory, Identity and Regional Development" Research Group of the Graduate Program in Regional Development (PPGDR) at FURB. I've had experience teaching "International Law" and "Research Practice" on the Law Course at FURB, as well as "Society, Culture and Regional Development" and "Development and Territory" for the Higher Education Program for Regional Development (PROESDE - UNIFEBE).
