Main activities:- Control the timing of the melt shop between Electric Arc Furnace, Ladle Furnace, and Continuous Casting;- Operate liquid steel ladle (120ton) using gate valve system;- Control the level of liquid steel in the distributor;- Request the temperature of the liquid steel ladle for casting;- Open liquid steel ladle using an oxygen lance;- Change liquid steel flow control valves in the distributor;- Remove slag from the distributor;- Support in the repair of the electric arc furnace with refractories;- Monitor billet quality up to the rolling process;- Internally analyze samples in carbon steel materials (Macrography);- Perform maintenance on the oxyfuel machine;- Cut carbon steel samples.- Control quality of cast billets.- Treat process and quality deviations.- Update the safety and quality standards.- Perform 5S and autonomous maintenance routines.- Participate in the problem solving group (GSP);- Production/loss recording using the SAP system;Results:- Increase in the yield of furnished billets directly after being cut;- Reduction of more than 30% of gases in the lamination reheating furnaces;- Reduction in 3 consecutive months of scrapped billets due to casting defects;- Record of 35 heats at the distributor;- 2 years mark without CPT accidents achieved;
