I am an dedicated Elementary Teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and background in bilingual education. Originally from Chile, I am a native Spanish speaker now teaching Spanish at Kristin School, one amazing school in New Zealand, with an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.Previously, I spent seven years as the Head Teacher for primary students at Marcelino Champagnat College, a Marist school in La Pintana, one of Santiago’s most underserved communities. There, I developed a deep commitment to educational equity and fostered a supportive, enriching environment for students facing significant socio-economic challenges.Since moving to New Zealand with my family, I am thrilled to bring my passion for education to the classroom, helping students develop both linguistic and cultural understanding. I am enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic and inclusive learning community and continuing my journey in education with an international perspective.
