Hi! I'm a Game Designer with over 2 years of experience in Canada's gaming industry, a university degree in Game Technology from PUC Minas, and a diploma in Game Design from Vancouver Film School. I worked with live operations for a mobile game, and with general game design during the pre-production of 2 PC/console games with a focus on combat and system design.I started playing games at a very young age, one of my first memories of playing video games was Ocarina of Time with my family. That helped me cultivate my love for RPG's which, alongside sim games, are my favorite genres to this day. The arts were also a big part of my life, I grew up singing and drawing and even studied 3D art for games while in University.Like Ocarina of Time, most games that I love feel like a tailored and unique journey. As a Designer, I want to work with teams to build experiences like that. I believe that this is achievable by taking into consideration mechanics, strategies, and themes to build worlds that are tailored to the games and can immerse the players. That's why when I work in a game (no matter the size) I try to make those elements connect and affect each other.Software that I'm familiar with: Unreal, Unity, Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Git, and other source control software.
