I am an undergraduate student at the University of Calgary, majoring in Sociology and Gender Studies, with a minor in Global Development and a certificate in Sustainability with a plan to do an after degree in Social Work. Passionate about social justice, I am deeply committed to advocating for marginalized communities, focusing on promoting racial and gender equity. My interests also extend to mental health and theories of belonging, recognizing their vital roles in fostering inclusive and supportive environments.As a proactive volunteer at the Distress Centre Calgary, I contribute across multiple roles: from frontline support (as a Connecteen Volunteer) to wellness initiatives, and I am actively involved in shaping diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
