As a room leader at Bright Horizons, I created a safe, secure, and engaging environment for young children. I managed groups of up to 42 children, ensuring their emotional well-being and teaching them manners, personal hygiene, and social skills. I also supervised and mentored other staff members, and liaised with parents and external agencies.I have six years of experience in the early years sector, and I have completed two courses from Reach4Skills, one in Early Years Educator and one in Children and Young People's Workforce. I have in-depth knowledge of the EYFS and SEND frameworks, and I can implement them in educational and play materials for the children. I am fully trained in first aid, safeguarding policy, Ofsted's early years inspection handbook, and early years health and safety. I have a full, enhanced DBS check.
