I focused on the experimental characterization of a specialized 3D carbon fiber interlock developed by Safran Composites for C-RTM (Carbon-Resin Transfer Molding) applications. My contributions included:-Developing an experimental methodology for measuring the permeability of this complex fabric, a critical factor in composite manufacturing.-Identifying and addressing flow-induced deformations during impregnation.-Creation and use of dielectric sensors to precisely measure the local saturation of carbon fabrics during impregnation, enhancing real-time monitoring and control.
