Specializing in surveys, management plans, and the rescue of wildlife and domestic fauna, the company also engages in socio-environmental projects, offering solutions at various levels for both governmental and private sectors.Environmental Project CoordinatorIn my role as coordinator in the oil, natural gas and energy sector, my responsibilities were:>Empowering and coordinating a team of 8 biologists>Managing all logistics for the shipping and disembarking of collaborators among the 10 oil platforms. >Keeping up-to-date documentation required for collaborators (CTF, CRBIO, HUET, CBSP). >Organizing observation cruises>Drafting all technical reports for presentation to Petrobras and environmental regulatory agencies (IBAMA)>Reviewing data collected>Producing scientific outreach materialACHIEVEMENTS ALBATROSSES AND PETRELS MONITORING PROJECT (PMAPET) Created by Petrobras, as a licensing requirement included in the Operating License related to drilling and production activities of oil and natural gas in the Campos Basin (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), aiming to comply with the National Action Plan for the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels (PLANACAP).• We created a database of occurrence information with 2175 georeferenced records and a photo bank of over 80 Gb linked to the database• 23 sighting campaigns were conducted on 10 oil platforms, totaling 169 sampling days, and 3 expeditions on cruises in 12 months of the project• A trained and capable team was formed to work with Procellariformes in offshore environments• The sampling effort of the two methodologies in one year detected 55% of the seabirds predicted for the region, demonstrating that the PMAPet samplings were very effective for detecting species in the target group
