As the 5th Grade Team Lead at IDEA Public Schools, I oversee the operations and communication of a diverse and high-performing team of educators who are committed to the mission of college for all. I have over two years of teaching experience, including one year as a 2nd Grade ELA Teacher at IDEA, where I helped students achieve significant growth in reading and writing skills. I also have experience in student recruitment and enrollment, having served as a Regional Manager for three months in 2021. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education at The University of Texas at El Paso, with a focus on diversity, equity, and social justice in education. I am passionate about creating inclusive and empowering learning environments that celebrate the cultural and linguistic diversity of our students and communities. Some of the skills and competencies that I bring to my role are operations, communication, cultural awareness, collaboration, and leadership.
