Camp Kesem is a non-profit organization that raises funds to host a free summer camp every year for children whose parents have been affected by cancer. As a volunteer coordinator, I promote Camp Kesem on campus to attract and maintain new members. This is done through tabling events, speaking in lecture halls, and connecting with professors on campus to endorse Kesem as well. I manage counselor selection and training for the upcoming camp in August. Lastly, I lead Camp Kesem's monthly general body meetings and act as the liaison between body members and the executive board.
