The years go by, and I have gained a lot of experience. Jobs in various industries have given me, among others, insights into the textile industry and the financial sector. I finally landed in the IT industry. Admittedly, this is where I have spent most of my professional time so far, and where I still do. Before becoming a marketer, I worked in sales for many years, looking after both end customers and business partners. This benefits me in my job as a marketing manager, because I also know the front line, so to speak, with all its sales issues and challenges on the customer side.What I particularly like about my current job at mip Informationspartner GmbH → https://www.linkedin.com/company/mip-gmbh/ is that my responsibilities cover the entire marketing spectrum. From strategy, planning and conception to implementation and monitoring of campaigns. This is often done in cooperation with external agencies, but it is also just as often done on my own. I work on the challenges of online and social media marketing as well as on the traditional marketing divisions, and the annual Christmas campaign for our customers is just as much a part of this as ordering the giveaways.
