About Gabriel Bernardo Da Silva

I am a political scientist and lawyer passionate about human rights and deeply committed to transforming the world into a better place. I have a master's degree in Global Studies at the University of North Carolina, United States (Rotary Peace Fellowship 2020/22) and my experience includes concrete field work within international contexts in Brazil, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Switzerland and Italy. Driven by a deep indignation with social inequality, I believe that education is an important tool for social transformation and development. I am passionate about building interpersonal bridges between cultures and fighting poverty, building and maintaining peace and upholding human rights for all.I have 5 years of experience in international organizations that serve people in situations of social vulnerability. My experience also includes more than 10 years of proven volunteer work in the areas of education, human development, poverty, migration and social work.
