Responsible for HPC Products for SGI. Led Engineering, Product Management and Marketing. Developed a strategy to focus on large systems addressing the needs of customers in government, manufacturing, earth sciences and life sciences. Executed on the strategy which led to a profitable fiscal year 2016 for the company at $533M of revenue. Worked with customers to understand their needs and bring innovation to our roadmaps. Part of the leadership team that sold the company to HPE in November 2016. As part of HPE, developed joint roadmaps and planned organizations for the combined company.

Led the team that created Ericsson Innova, an initiative to enable 6,000 people across the world to innovate. Inspired by the Venture Capital model, people are able to submit ideas and get funding to see their ideas through. In three years, Innova received more than 3,500 ideas, funded more than 450, and five advanced to become products. In the second year, started a team that applies principles from the world of design (design thinking) to achieve and spread a method for repeatable innovation. The team expanded to three countries tackling innovation projects in multiple domains.

Developed Storage Strategy, created Storage Solutions Division. Responsible for storage and HA features for Windows Vista and Windows Server, and storage products including Windows Storage Server, WUDSS, and Data Protection Manager.

Responsible for Software and Storage business and technologies. Established the SGI storage business, led efforts for Irix scalability and distribution, introduced the first SGI systems with Linux, and the heterogeneous SAN cluster file system CXFS. (Prior roles Director of Operating Systems, Vice President of Engineering)

Designed and implemented operating systems for Cray Vector supercomptuers and massively parallel Cray T3E. Managed Unicos and Irix operating system kernel groups.
