Leader of the design team responsible for implementing the wayfinding system for a Major Sport Event in Paris.

Acted as team leader on the planning and implementing of wayfinding for different client groups (spectators, media, athletes, technical officials and workforce) in over 40 venues for sport competition, training, accommodation and other operations.Activities:- Definition of the wayfinding strategy and content, which involved the constant exchange (in english) with different functional areas of the organising committee to define the areas covered by the signs and keeping track of new requests/changes on the controlled vocabulary to ensure message consistency.- Designing a complete kit of parts (signs family) integrated with the branding and look of the Games, but also strongly supported by studies of typography, readability and legibility, use of space, minimum colour contrast for people with colour blindness and sustainability.- Set-up of the entire project on the SignAgentTM platform, which included designing/programming templates for artwork automation, organising standards for location plans, sign type, codes and symbols, and defining reports for approval and installation.- Supervision and support for two wayfinding managers, with whom I shared the management, scoping and overseeing of the installation teams at all the venues. This resulted in the production and installation of over 5000 wayfinding signs (wall and door panels, headers, freestanding structures, accreditation signs, bus stops, etc.). - Delivery of over 15.000 additional artworks (door and desk panels, hand paddles, lollipop signs, etc.) with custom text and graphics requested by the functional areas, which were done through an automated process that used a controlled spreadsheet fed by all functional area managers.

Worked along the team leader on the planning and implementing of wayfinding for the last mile operation (guiding spectators, media and workforce from transport hubs and other drop off points to their respectives accesses) for the three stadiums of the competitions. Activities:- Defining the content and location of all signs supporting clients on the last mile operation.- Creating the location plans used for approving the scope and for installation.- Overseeing the installation teams.
